Victorian conservatory roof

The Victorian roof system represents old, wooden conservatories in all respects. There are many accessories available, which can make the structure more detailed and exact. Such accessories are the ornament profiles on the cornice gutter edge, the cogged batten that can be installed below the cornice, ornamented supporting-decorative arms that can be put in the bend of the roof beam and the wall, rose ornamentations that can be installed onto the base panels or the linear and arced ornamental stripes that can be glued onto the glass. This system is suitable for valley design. The structural fastener pieces are the most suitable for symmetrical formations and the respective refracting angles (90°, 135°, 150°), but can also be used on different forms as well.

• Modern or classic conservatory?

Since the Victorian era, new conservatories have been built in this decorative style. Typical elements are glass dividers, multi-curved gutters, peak and ridge decoration and small floral rilief. Often still in the “Victorian green” (RAL6021) color typical of the Victorian era

• What color should I choose? Can I choose something other than white or anthracite?

From the 208 colors of the RAL color scale, glossy, matte and structured colors are available as standard.

An additional charge is required only for wood patterns such as golden oak, cherry, rosewood… or for a bicolor conservatory. The latter means that the conservatory has a different color or surface outside and inside.

• Thermally insulated or classic conservatory?

These two are not mutually exclusive! The most decorative winter gardens are free of thermal bridges and, with 3-layer glazing, meet the energy efficiency requirements of passive houses.
